My name is Mary. I own this site. It’s not cheap so I’m going to make the most of my money and talk - a lot. I’m actually not a very exciting person. I spend the majority of my days playing various video games, playing DnD, and spending quality time with my better half - Dan.

While I’m not exciting, I do have opinions and interests that I like to share. Some you may agree with, some you may not, but more than likely - you probably don’t really care that much. I do my longest tyraids when angry at someone/something, but I’m actually a pretty damn-happy person. If you had an inner monologue of me reading my posts to you, even if it’s a “high-and-mighty-and-angry-at-someone-post”, imagine it in the tone of Ben Stein rather than Hitler. Unless it’s in caps/bold, then replace the tone as Sam Kinnison.

Why did I pick males for my vocal representation?

I have terrible run on sentences and use of punctuation. I make up my own words, like tyraid, and constantly fight with my spellchecker when it tells me “dumbassness” is not a word. I write like I talk tho, and the way I talk is a constant run on sentence, complete with verbal connotations of misused punctuation. Hell, sometimes I give words new meanings because it just sounds better that way. Overall tho, I don’t try to be overly eccentric about my writing style, and try to to make the site readable by the masses… not just my friends who speak “Mary-ese”.

And I really do hate the dumbassness of my spellchecker.

Overall, my goal with this site is to keep in touch with family and friends, voice my opinion, share some stories, and hopefully get a laugh out of you (”you” being the populous of the interwebs) once in a while. Whether you’re laughing with or at me, is irrelevant… It’s all win.

25 things you may or may not know about SuperMary

1. If not for Fillet Mignon and Lobster, I’d easily be a vegetarian. I will physically gag off of poorly prepared meat. If I had to live off of just one region’s food type, it’d be Indian.
2. I never had a strawberry, most melons, an orange, shrimp, lobster, peas, green beans, sushi, a tomato, a peach, Mexican, Chinese, Indian, or Japanese til my mid twenties or later. I like all of them now except tomatoes.
3. I would be ecstatic if I had to never work a day again in my life.
4. I have a overwhelming fear of cars and other drivers.
5. I get a bloody nose at least five times a week - completely randomly.
6. I have a skin condition called Folliculitis, which is why you’ll never see my legs.
7. I really - REALLY don’t like sweets, especially chocolate, but I can tear through a bag of chips in a heartbeat.
8. The only chip I didn’t like was a dill pickle flavored one. I love pickles and chips - just apparently not together.
9. I fully believe Cannabis should be legalized, but I don’t smoke it.
10. I love love love love a good debate, and I think it’s extremely healthy for the mind. If you can clearly argue your points without getting childish about it, it’s riveting. Some of my closest friends are ones I’ve debated with. It’s also impossible for me to walk away from a debate.
11. My absolute biggest anger sparker is when people don’t listen to me. If you don’t want to hear what I say that’s fine, just don’t rebuttal with things I’ve already said.
12. I over-explain everything. Mostly due to a fear of misinterpretation of my statements. Anyone who reads my site should know this already. Ironically, I’m an absolutely terrible teacher.
13. I bruise very easily on the upper arms. This is due to friends who smack me in the arms while talking to me. I don’t know why they do it but now even a little bit of pressure will make my arms bruise. Both my prom pictures show this.
14. I have extremely thin hair. The first time Dan saw my hair wet he honestly asked if I was balding.
15. My life changed for the better when I befriended Canadians.
16. My name is Mary, but my mom has always called me Katie. I don’t even realize when she does it now - but I’ve never responded to Katie from anyone else.
17. I am abhorrently against “love at first sight”. There is no such thing, that is a fact. There is only lust at first sight.
18. I hate most romantic movies I see. Especially when the girl/guy is currently in a relationship - and then the movie has to make the one their currently seeing “a bad guy” by being a cheater or liar.
19. I have a horrible and violent temper. It was even worse when I was a child, I have it under control for the most part now but, when it gets out - oh man. There’s a few broken game controllers around here that will show what happens.
20. It is almost impossible for me to like a female the first time I meet them. My closest girl friends now are ones I didn’t like until several months after initially meeting them.
21. 100% honestly, I still have absolutely no idea what Dan sees in me. Not a clue.
22. I think I’m the least intelligent among all my friends.
23. I love to laugh at myself and I fully encourage others to do as well. But when people start sounding serious about it, I get very defensive (see #19)
24. I absolutely hate competitions. I refuse to participate in anything competitive. The only things remotely competitive I’ll play are party games, but I will not play them with people who get competitive about it.
25. I think I am really funny when I don’t try to be, and I’m completely unfunny, and almost offensive, when I actually try.
